This ring flash softbox is made of fabric and rods, collapsing much like a softbox. At 18" in diameter, the assembled softbox provides quite a large light source, especially when compared to alternative adapters. A ring flash is a donut of light that sits around the camera’s lens. Because the light comes from all directions, the shadows cancel each other out. A softbox works by making the light much bigger, thus softening the shadows it casts and flattering the subject.

Assembly steps:
1. Loosen the softbox;
2. Lightly pull the edge, which is a straight line on both sides of the metal buckle;
3. Hold all the support bars in turn;
4. Insert the camera lens into the softbox viewfinder and fix the softbox;
5. Extend the set-top light into the softbox light and fix it with a Velcro;
6. Complete the installation

Collapse process:
1. Gently push the support bar with your finger;
2. Fold all the support bars in half;
3. Twist into 8 characters and fold it together
